Apocalypto
Author A. O. Scott (The New York Times) begins his review with a quote from the movie; “I’m going to peel off his skin and make him watch me wear it.” After briefly listing the most memorable action scenes from the movie, Scott begins talking about the director, Mel Gibson, and compares this film with others he produced. Scott claims this is another "conservative anti-imperialism" movie by Gibson. After Scott explains the setting, he starts describing key parts of the film's plot. Finaly, an overall opinion is stated about the film, just before a list of the crew and cast.

Experts: Horror Film
A student named Barry Godsbury is doing a project on the history of horror films and has asked quesetions to help him better understand the genre. Some questions include: Why do you think people watch horror movies? Do you think that it's possible to learn more about a time period by studying horror movies made at that time period? What are some qualities that make a horror film enjoyable? There are a couple of interesting and insightful answers, and remember you are allowed to give your insight on the questions. Plus if anyone is in a judging mood, you can rate the answers from 1-10. This site also has a link to purchase a DVD called 50 HORROR Classics for only 19.95 (+shipping), if anyone is interested.

So you want to sell a script?
The site I linked to gives you information on how to submit a script. It gives you writer resources, a writer's rolodex, procduction co.'s, literary agengcies, a list of literary managers, other film reviews, a Q & A forum, film news, columns, and so on... So if anyone thinks they have a well-plotted script, send it in to this site. IF you want my advise though, I think it's all just a giant scam.

The Rules of Romance
I found this website called Nassauweekly.com and read an article called "The Rules of Romance: Basically be an asshole, but not a douche bag". It was written by Maxine Maduka who came up with six rules of romance. I want to hear some girl's comments on the rules (#2) because I think some of them are pretty ridiculous. Anyway, If your a guy who's game needs a little boost this might/might not be the sight to read.

Other reviews compare this film to other secret agent films as well as comparing the film to the book. There is a lot of imformation about this movie at this link guys!
