The Bourne Identity is one of those movies that is hard to compete with. Its realistic car chases, realistic characters, and realistic situations make it, shall I say, realisic. The movie keeps you enteratined every step of the way because as the review I linked to says, "Most thrillers blow it by both giving away too much information too soon and relying too heavily on stunts and special effects. The Bourne Identity teeters on the verge of doing both, but happily pulls back just as we're about to lose hope". I linked to an in depth reveiw on the movie that gives goes beyond just stating the plot but gives opinions on the effectiveness of the actor/actress selections and the ability for the movie to be consistent.
