On Wikipedia's site it talks about the entire movie, from the cast members to the plot and other things. But I wanted to focus on the inspiration for the film. It says that many people have said that the Alien movie has come from much earlier sciencefiction horror movies. The writer Dan O'Bannon agrees, "A lot of people speculated as to where I stole it from. The truth is I stole it from everywhere." Scorlling down you will see the other films Dan got his inspiration from.
