Did you ever notice those little bloopers in movies that you don't know about till someone sais something about it? I hate finding movie flaws in a movie that I really like because it makes it seem like a bad movie. But every movie has them. This site that I found points out all the little mistakes Alien made during the movie. For example "While they seem to have no trouble analyzing the chemical makeup of the planet and its atmosphere, they can't seem to get the radio and video to work at a measly distance of 2 kilometers (as they get to the alien spacecraft)." Bloopers like this demeanor the movie of course, but it still doesn't stop the movie from being a good horror/sci fi movie.
