Romantic comedies have been getting a lot of attention lately for appealing to a wide variety of audiences with their unrealistic plots and naïve characters, but that’s what makes them appealing. However, Date Movie takes it one step further and exaggerates the parts of romantic comedies that makes them absurd and packs them into one movie that celebrates the lies that romantic comedies have been telling for so long, that the process of falling in love is fun and hilarious.
