Public speaking is a fear that many people share, especially in front of ones own peers. This is why tips can be very helpful and ease the worry that people have. The tips discussed will give you the boost of confidence that you need to do well. The very first tip given is know your material. It is important to know what you are talking about. If you know your material inside and out then you will already feel more confident about yourself and your speaking abilities. Another important tip that the website gives is to practice. Specifically the site says, "Rehearse out loud with all equipment you plan on using. Revise as necessary. Work to control filler words; Practice, pause and breathe. Practice with a timer and allow time for the unexpected." Some other tips include knowing your audience, concentrate on the message, and to relax.
