Romance has been around for centuries and is very lucky to be here. This site that I have stumbled upon tells us about the history of romance. If you think romance is on its way out now, it actually disappeared for a century back in the day. This site then breaks down 2 sub genres used in 19th century romantic novels. It also gives a list of romantic symbols that aren't very useful to me, so I am passing them on to you. Enjoy!
