The Holiday: The New Romantic Comedy

When I was assigned to put the romantic genre in context, I immediately began to think of films that fit into the genre. The most popular ones came to mind first: The Notebook, Titanic, Gone With The Wind. But then I wanted to bring a more recent and somewhat different film into the mix to show the versatility of the categorie. The Holiday fit these criteria by having a witty cast and amazing writers who displayed romance in an awesome way.
