The review that I have found on the movie Alien is by Roger Ebert of the Suntimes. The first thing that Ebert says about the film is "At its most fundamental level, "Alien" is a movie about things that can jump out of the dark and kill you." The movie revolves around the disgusting alien creatures that are killing off character after character. Ebert discusses this as well as the main characters of the film. Also, Ebert compares some of the aspects of the film to others such as "Jaws" and "Halloween." Some other things discussed in the review by Ebert is the technical aspects. Ebert says, "One of the great strengths of "Alien" is its pacing. It takes its time. It waits. It allows silences." Overall this is a good review that helps us understand the movie more and gives us a glimpse of what you will see when you view the film.
