Espionage and Secret Agents

When people hear the word espionage they might not know what it means. Espionage is the act of spying or obtaining information from an organization that might be considered confidential or secret. This a Wikipedia article that I found through Google about secret agents, also known as spies, and espionage. It gives us some information about spies in real life. It tells us how spies went about doing their business in different eras throughout history. From ancient China to the cold war I found this article very interesting and informative.

This article was extremely interesting in its brief talk about the ancient history of the use of espionage. It was cool to see that it even showed an example of ancient espionage through using the Bible, by bringing up the story of Rahab which tells of Joshua sending spies to investigate unknown land. I never thought of ancient examples such as this being in some way parallel to the crazy action spy movies we see today. The basis is the same; moving around while trying to not be noticed.
