A Walk to Remember:A Small Treasure

In a review done by Roger Ebert in 2002, he called A Walk to Remember "corny at times, but corniness is all right at times." Roger Ebert is a reviewer for the "Chicago Sun-times" and on Saturday night, him and another reviewer, Roeper, review movies that came out that same weekend. Ebert became the first recipient of a Pulitzer Prize for film criticism in 1975.In his online review about A Walk to Remember, Ebert says " After all of the vulgar crudities of the typical modern teenage movie, here is one that looks closely, pays attention, sees that not all teenagers are as cretinous as Hollywood portrays them." In this review, Ebert describes the actors in detail and the convincing performances they gave. He also describes how the movie went wrong three times, but it still had its romance, faith and values established in its core.
