To Charlie

When the words spy movie are tossed around one doesn't think of chicks, but hey chicks can kick some serious ass. Charlie's Angels, though not a popular spy movie, is a popular movie. This movie steals some pointers from its mentors (Mission Impossible, Bond series, etc.) and packs a lot of action. It's filled with action scenes that range from regular man on man, err well woman on man, fist fighting to crazy pyrotechnics. Being the "girl power" movie that it is; there aren't any gory scenes with blood squirting everywhere, and people's arms being chopped off. If you're not into the intense spy movie, such as the Bourne trilogy, pop one of the Charlie's Angels films in. It's light hearted, action packed, and humorous. Though it isn't as serious as many spy movies, Charlie's Angels can hold its own. To put it simply; this movie is easy entertainment. No predictions necessary, no complicated story line to figure out, and definitely no leading man with a gun who gets all the ladies. Just three chicks kicking some major ass.
