The Warriors

One of my all-time favorite movies would have to be "The Warriors". With non stop action and thrilling suspense what isn't there to love. Robert Ebert unfortunately, was able to find things not to like about the movie. Ebert starts and ends by criticizing director Walter Hill because he isn't original. He goes on by saying that "The Warriors" felt like "Hard Times", another movie directed by Hill, due to the camera angles and that "when the characters talk, they seem to be inhabiting a tale rehearsed many times before". All in all he says it was a decent movie and gave it two stars. In my view it deserved at least three stars, sure the acting may sound a little over rehearsed but for being made in 1979, the acting is good and the storyline couldn't be better.
