A Walk To Remember

I have found a review of The movie "A Walk to Remember" which ran in the Chicago Suntimes by Roger Ebert. This film is a touching tale of two teenagers who find themselves in love despite their different lifestyles. According to Ebert the movie can be corny at times but the acting and story line make up for it. One of the main characters Landon Carter played by Shane West is one of the popular kids in his high school and hangs out with the bullies. He comes across a young women who changes all that. Her name is Jamie Sullivan and is played by the singer Mandy Moore. Jamie is a the daughter of Rev. Sullivan and her upbringing is that of good morals and church. She is shy and seems out of place in her high school. Despite the two leading different paths in life they seem to click and you can see the romance blossom and grow as different scenes play out. The performances played by Mandy Moore and Shane West are unforgettable. They grab your attention from the beginning and have you all the way up to the very end. This romance makes you believe in love and makes you believe that anyone is capable of it no matter their lifestyle or agenda. "A Walk to Remember'" is not just your typical teenage movie but rather a sophisticated love story and a must see for all.
