The spy genre is so popular today and has been for many centuries. Now a days we see movies such as James Bond agent 007, Bourne Ultimatum, Goldmember, Man on fire and many more. Now would it surprise you to hear the word spy in the Holy Bible? It's true the books of Genesis, Luke, James, Joshua, Judges and Hebrews carry many quotes mentioning spies. I suppose it is odd to write about spies in a paragraph and also mention "James Bond agent 007" and "Holy Bible." However the Holy Bible does not hold stories like the movies i mentioned before that involve killing. racing cars, causing explosions, or unexpected sex. its phrases seem to hold a much more simple definition of spy, something more like someone sent to find something out.
